Christoffel National Park

For early birds. Hike up Mount Christoffel — the highest point on the island — for a view that stretches all the way to Venezuela on a clear day.

Important: Start the climb before 10:00 AM. Midday heat is intense and the upper sections are unshaded.

The wild, wind-whipped north coast where massive waves crash violently into limestone cliffs. Key highlights: Boka Tabla (an underground cave you can walk down to) and Boka Pistol (a natural blowhole that erupts like gunfire).

Jan Kok / Willibrordus Salt Lakes

A completely free, scenic roadside stop where you can watch wild flocks of bright pink flamingos wading in their natural habitat. No infrastructure — just pull over and bring binoculars.
